I've been reading up on Magic, ie Chaos Magic.
Interesting to know the experience of a magician.

Well, I'm back! If anyone is still interested, I would be willing to teach a few things..

Well, its impossible to give a tutorial on all magic. Its an ever changing thing. I can however, give a tutorial on some smaller, more fun parts of magic, which I think would be better for the kind of people on these forums.

Hmmm. I don't know where the post from the other guy went, but he said he wanted to learn, so I shall teach!

I'll teach you guys about one of the most popular things us Chaos magicians do. Sigils! In a box, these are just pictures, or symbols created by the user, made from their statement of intent. You use these to make something happen.

How you make them:

So lets say you want to find a new girlfriend, but haven't had any luck.This would be you statement of intent. "I will find a girlfriend within one month ".

Now you capitalize all the letters, and put the words together:
IWILLFINDAGIRLFRIENDWITHINONEMONTH

Then take out the repeating letters:
IWLFNDAGRETHOM

This next step is not neccecary, but some people do it if they have too many letters.
Remove every second letter:
ILNARTO

NOW comes the fun part. Making an image out of the letters. This is done by using the letters to form a picture, like this. (A rather crappy example.)


Then you take that picture, and make a SMALLER picture from it, like....


Then the sigil is done! Feel free to mess it up any way you want.

Well woopty doo. You made a sigil. After you are done admiring yourself, you need to charge the sigil. In other terms, you need to fill that little picture you just made with energy. There are several ways people do this.

If you know anything about meditation, or altered states, that will pay off here. One way to charge the sigil is to meditate, with the sigil in front of you. Then visualize the sigil filling and glowing with pure white energy. Imagine the sigil glowing brighter, and brighter, filling up more and more, then imagine the sigil "exploding" with energy, shooting off into space.

A second way to charge the sigil is masturbation. No, really, I'm serious. When you masturbate, you enter a sort of trance like state, and the point of orgasm is perfect for charging your sigil. To do this, find a quiet place to do the deed, sit down, and put the sigil in front of you. Start to masturbate, and stare directly at the sigil, and nothing else. Keep doing this until you are at the point of orgasm, then as soon as you orgasm, imagine the sigil glowing, pulsing with your energy. After this, set the sigil loose, and clean up.

After you charge the sigil, throw it away, and forget about it! The end!

Yes, you are absolutely right that magic has a philoshophy. It's really a great art created by someone famous personality and i always admire all magicians. It's really very difficult to present a stage show and i feel very wonder when i see any magic show.

I am a card trick magician, though, and have some VERY good slight of hand skills.

Not insulting you, btw. Just not a personal believer of real magic because it is illogical and defies laws of physics.
