One quick question about AP

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to astral project for about a month and a half now and I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. I use the AP dose to get my brain in the right mood while I try to relax my body into a sleeping state and I think that I get there most of the time. My body feels very numb and my breathing is slowed. I think that this is the right state of relaxation to be in, but I am not sure where to proceed from there.

I have heard that when one is ready to leave the body they enter the vibrational state. I do feel slight vibrations. Kind of like a tingling sensation at times. I also feel a pressure in the upper center of my forehead sometimes. This is about as far as I have gotten and I was wondering if I was doing it right and if so, where do I go from there?

Thanks for the help.

Hello, it seems to me that you are indeed entering the vibrational state. When this occurs, just let it happen. Don't move any body parts and just relax. Also I too have noticed the slight pressure on my head. Good luck and let us know if you astral project!

thans for the advice.

I have tried what you suggest, but to no avail. Now the vibrations just go away after a while and leave me in a very relaxed state. After that, nothing much happens and I sometimes just lie in my bed in that state for an hour or two wondering what to do next.

You might need to help the vibrations along somewhat. For some people, it works to just lie there in the right state and wait for them. If you did this long enough they might occur - but why wait if you don't have to? Here are some techniques you might try. Chances are one of them will bring on some results!

1. Focus on the tingling sensations you feel. Sometimes you can make them stronger just by giving them your full attention.

2. Imagine yourself floating upward and out of your body. This is one of many visualization techniques that can bring on an astral projection. If you don't want to float upward, you can envision yourself rolling out of bed, sliding forward, "stretching" outward, or otherwise exiting your physical body.

3. Try to summon vibrations from a point several feet behind the top of your head (if your body is a straight line, this point is along that line). Imagine a source of energy, then "pull" the vibrations from that source. Let them enter through your head and make their way down your body. Again, visualization can be very powerful.

4. Visualize yourself moving downward. You can be walking down a flight of stairs, riding in an elevator, climbing down a ladder, or falling, so long as it's down. Recreate the falling sensation you get in your stomach when moving downward.

Hopefully one of these works for you! I would try them in that order, but you can of course do whatever you like.
